Having blown half her month's wages on a skintight red angora dress, Milly is dismayed to find that it sheds everywhere - and that it is rather uncomfortably hot. Then she overhears Andrew chatting up the party's hostess, and laughing at her - and her outfit - behind her back. Hurt, heartbroken and humiliated, can anything possibly salvage Milly's dreadful night?

In 'The Square Peg', despite her best intentions, junior secretary Penny is a whirlwind of chaos. She's two hours late back from lunch, mixes up letters, and on one memorable occasion manages to release a rabbit into the boardroom. But the job application she sends off has some rather unexpected consequences...
