This book is written to assist the Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education Home Science students to prepare for the final examination. With the introduction of the 8-4-4 system of education in Kenya, students are offered a complete and comprehensive course in Home Science from Form One to Form Four. The testing of the syllabus is hence at the end of the Fourth Form. Students should, therefore, endeavour to cover all aspects of the syllabus, if they expect to perform well in the final examination. This book is written for use by the students who will sit the Home Science examination in Form Four. Additionally, this book could make useful reference material for teachers and students in Primary Teachers’ Training Colleges and tertiary levels.
