In a hospital bed in some unknown location, lay a young man. He was in a deep comatose state caused by a motorcycle accident. Hooked up to the latest life-support machines, Kiefer White lay motionless. He had been like this for many days. Suddenly his mind stirred and awoke from a long dreamless sleep. Both mentally and emotionally aroused, Kiefer saw flickering pictures come into focus. Although his brain and emotional senses were triggered, his physical body remained still, lifeless and uninvolved on his bed.
