A Textbook on Environmental Studies is a growing discipline which emphasis on human being and his comfort. The honourable Supreme Court of India in view of Writ Petition No. 860 of 1991, directed University Grants Commission, New Delhi to Prescribe a course on "Man and Environment" consequently University Grants Commission notified to all universities of the country to introduces a course on "Environmental Studies". The book has been divided in Eight units. Every unit has comprehensive, up-to-date, concise with case studies, informative diagrams and simple language. In the last, 8th unit is included for field work.
